History question time! Did you know that the establishment of the wool, wine, wheat and dairy industries in Australia can all be traced back to one family and a farm a little over an hour from our school in Smithfield?

Today, some of our Year 5 students are off to Camden to explore Belgenny Farm to learn about the Macarthur family and the early Australian colonies. Before they went, they were lucky enough to have a talk from an expert historian on this topic - our very own Miss Aulsebrook!

Yesterday, our students proudly wore their pyjamas to school in support of our Winter Appeal. It was wonderful to see our community come together to help those doing it tough this winter.

Students generously donated items to create snack packs for St Vincent de Paul, which will help provide food and support for people in need within our local community. A special thank you to our Mini Vinnies students, who helped collect and organise the donations.

We are truly grateful for the incredible generosity of our school community. The abundance of donations was overwhelming, and today Mrs Bila, along with some staff, packed over 500 snack packs ready for donation.

What a fabulous effort! These packs will make a meaningful difference in the lives of many people.β€οΈπŸ™πŸ’™
