Can you guess what we're drawing? βοΈπ€
Directed drawing is so much more than creating a cute picture.
As children follow each step, they're developing: βοΈ Listening and attention skills
βοΈ Visual tracking and observation skills
βοΈ Fine motor control
βοΈ Pencil grip and hand strength
βοΈ Spatial awareness
βοΈ Confidence in following instructions
βοΈ Perseverance when tasks feel challenging
Most importantly, directed drawing teaches children that they can break a big task down into smaller, achievable steps β a skill they'll use throughout their learning journey.
The best part? The excitement on their faces when they realise, "I drew that!" π

HUNDRED is HUGE! π―
Ever wondered what 100 looks like?
For our little learners, 100 is a BIG number β so big that it's often hard to truly understand what it means.
As part of "H" Week, we're exploring the number 100 in a hands-on, meaningful way. We're counting to 100, talking about what 100 looks like, and even covering our friends in 100 stickers! π
Because for 4-year-olds, learning happens best when they can see it, touch it and experience it.
100 is fun.
100 is giggles.
100 is laughter.
100 is LOTS!
And this week, we're discovering that...
HUNDRED is HUGE! π―

π Can you draw without using your eyes?
As part of Senses Week, our little learners in the TOTS program put on blindfolds and took on the challenge of drawing without being able to see!
There were plenty of giggles, some very creative masterpieces, and lots of discussions about how important our senses are in helping us understand the world around us.
Activities like this encourage children to:
π Listen carefully
π§ Think creatively
β Develop body awareness
π¬ Build communication skills
π¨ Explore new ways of learning
The best part? Seeing their reactions when the blindfolds came off and they got to admire their artwork! π

π HALF DAY IN KINDER WORKSHOPS π
One of our most loved events is back these school holidays!
Our Half Day in Kinder Workshops are specially designed to give children a genuine kindergarten-style experience before they start school. Children pack their bag, bring their lunchbox, wave goodbye at the door and spend the morning participating in a range of engaging learning experiences, just like they will at big school.
Throughout the session, children will practise important school readiness skills including:
β Independence
β Following routines and instructions
β Literacy and numeracy
β Fine motor development
β Social skills and confidence
β Concentration and resilience
Most importantly, they'll experience what it feels like to be part of a kindergarten classroom, helping them feel confident, capable and excited about the transition to school.
These workshops are offered exclusively to children currently enrolled in our KINDER stream and places are strictly limited.
If your little learner is heading to kindergarten soon, this is an incredible opportunity to give them an extra boost of confidence before their big school adventure begins! ππ
β° Places are filling fast!
We now have only a handful of spots remaining across our Half Day in Kinder Workshops.
