On Friday 16th October, we'll be proudly participating in Loud Shirt Day by wearing our brightest, loudest, and most colourful shirts!

Loud Shirt Day is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate inclusion, raise awareness, and learn about the value of communication and connection. It's also a chance to help children understand that everyone experiences the world in different ways, and that our differences make our community stronger.

Through events like this, children learn to:
✨ Celebrate diversity and inclusion
✨ Develop empathy and understanding
✨ Respect and appreciate differences
✨ Foster a sense of belonging for everyone

We'll be spending the day exploring activities that highlight kindness, friendship, communication, and celebrating what makes each of us unique.

💦 Kids Alive – Do the Five 💦

At our centre, children's safety is always our priority. Water safety is an important life skill, and we're excited to be taking part in Kids Alive – Do the Five to help children learn how to stay safe around water.

The Kids Alive message encourages families to remember these five simple steps:

✅ Fence the pool
✅ Shut the gate
✅ Teach your kids to swim
✅ Supervise – watch your mate
✅ Learn to resuscitate

Throughout the day, our children will be participating in fun, age-appropriate learning experiences and discussions all about water safety, helping them build awareness and confidence around safe practices near water. 💙🏊

We encourage families to continue these important conversations at home.

We're excited to be supporting Fernwood Underwood's 20th Birthday Open Day this Saturday!

We've provided plenty of Goodstart Slacks Creek brochures and children's colouring packs for families to enjoy and learn more about our centre.

We've also donated a beautiful hamper prize for the colouring competition, so be sure to stop by and join in the fun!
