Siena Catholic College was established in 1997 and soon built a reputation for excellent Catholic education. The College continues to be considered among the best Secondary schools on the Sunshine Coast and beyond, and is in high demand by parents and carers across the region. Siena Catholic College seeks to develop the whole person - the spiritual, intellectual, physical, social and emotional – s

o that each student can realise their God-given potential. All members of our school community offer talents, gifts and skills bestowed upon them by God, to be used in the service of the Church in spreading the Good News: that Jesus lived, died and rose again so that we all may have eternal life. The College is unwaveringly committed to a Catholic-Christian philosophy of education which defines all that we do in College life, and is based firmly in the Gospel values of love for one another, compassion and mercy. Our school is proud to be developing a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) to strengthen relationships, respect and opportunities in the classroom, around the school and with the community.

🌟 Preparing Year 9 Students for Future Success 🌟

Our Year 9 students recently participated in the annual Speed Careering and Mock Interview Program, and what an outstanding experience it was!

We are incredibly proud of the way our students conducted themselves throughout the interviews, receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback from industry representatives for their professionalism, preparation and engagement.

A special thank you and acknowledgment to Julie Cameron, our Pathways and VET Officer, whose coordination, dedication and commitment were instrumental in making the event such a success. Julie's work in connecting students with industry and providing valuable career development opportunities continues to make a meaningful impact on our young people.

We are also deeply grateful to the many industry representatives who generously shared their time, expertise and guidance, helping students gain valuable insights into the world of work.

Thank you to everyone involved in preparing, supporting and encouraging our Year 9 students throughout the day.

πŸ‘ Well done, Year 9! We look forward to seeing the confidence and skills gained from this experience continue to grow.

One of the highlights of the Year 8 calendar is always the unforgettable adventure camp at Emu Gully! From muddy obstacle courses to strategy-based challenges, students embraced every opportunity to step outside their comfort zones, work together, and build lasting memories.

Through each activity, our students demonstrated resilience, trust, and teamwork, bringing to life our 2026 motto, β€œGrowth Through Collaboration.” It was inspiring to see friendships strengthened, confidence grow, and students supporting one another every step of the way.

What an incredible experience and a camp to remember! 🌟

πŸ“šβœ¨ Book Week 2026 at Siena! βœ¨πŸ“š

Last week, our Library was buzzing with creativity, curiosity and plenty of fun as students and staff celebrated Book Week together.

Students immersed themselves in a range of activities, including Virtual Reality experiences, Quick Fire Monopoly: Literature Edition, music-themed quizzes, literary pun challenges, and competitions to win prizes by borrowing CBCA shortlisted books. There was something for everyone, and the enthusiasm was contagious!

Adding to the excitement, many staff embraced the spirit of the week by dressing up as their favourite literary characters, bringing smiles, laughter and a sense of joy to the school day.
