The Sunshine Coast is filled with incredible trails that make study breaks and holiday downtime genuinely refreshing. Check out what some of our locals and students get up to on their time off. Whether you’re chasing the perfect sunrise or sunset, hoping to spot Brisbane City on a clear day, or looking to challenge yourself with a tougher climb, there’s a hike here for every level. 🌞🍃
 
⛰️ Mt Ngungun – A short but rewarding climb with panoramic Glass House Mountain views. Great for sunrise and beginner-friendly.
🌊 Noosa National Park Walk – Coastal cliffs, turquoise water, and the chance to spot dolphins or koalas along the track.
🌄 Mount Ninderry – A peaceful trail with two lookout points and a steady incline that’s ideal for a morning workout.
⛰️ Mount Coolum – One of the Coast’s favourites. A quick but steep walk that rewards you with 360° ocean and hinterland views.

This year’s ceremony will be held on Monday 17 November at the Auditorium, Innovation Centre.

✅Campus opening: UniSC Queensland campuses will be open and fully operational from Tuesday 11 March 2025. All scheduled classes will resume from Tuesday and students are encouraged to stay up to date by regularly checking Canvas, Student Portal and the UniSC website: www.usc.edu.au/ex-tropical-cyclone-alfred

Campus closure update:
All UniSC Queensland campuses and sites will be closed Monday 10 March 2025. Scheduled teaching and events have been postponed. A decision regarding campus re-openings and classes for Tuesday 11 March 2025 will be communicated on Monday 10 March 2025.
