U3A CONFERENCE PERFORMERS:
Our U3A Music Makers Band took to the stage at the recent U3A Conference, entertaining delegates with a selection of familiar favourites and timeless classics.
The group regularly performs at local aged care homes, where well-known songs often inspire singing along, happy memories, and plenty of smiles. Their commitment to bringing music and enjoyment to others is greatly appreciated by both our members and the wider community.
A big thank you to the Music Makers Band for sharing their talents and proudly representing our U3A at the conference.
One of their members, Wayne, a guitarist, celebrated his 80th birthday recently, while Graeme, whose voice can be heard in this video, is 93 and first joined the Music Makers 33 years ago, a wonderful testament to the longevity and spirit of the group.🎶
