STUDENTS COMPLETE WHITE CARD COURSE

Congratulations to 12 students who successfully completed their White Card course – CPCWHS1001: Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry.

Delivered by Coastal OHS at Singleton High School, the course provided students with essential workplace safety training. All students showed excellent commitment and received their Statement of Attainment and SafeWork NSW Statement of Training on the day.

A White Card is required to undertake work experience or employment in the construction industry. Students will receive their official White Cards from SafeWork NSW within 14 days.

U13 & U15 Boys Rugby League

Our U13 and U15 Boys Rugby League teams travelled to Denman earlier this month to compete in the NRL Knights Premiership. The group displayed great sportsmanship throughout the day, and it was great to see these students excel. Sadly, both teams just missed out on progressing onto finals, but they should all be very proud of their efforts. Many thanks to the Parents and family friends of Singleton High School who travelled to support the lads. Some great footage and pics below!

This week, our Year 11 Physics students put Ohm’s Law to the test by investigating the relationship between current and voltage. Using an ammeter and voltmeter, they took precise measurements to explore how these components function. Great work to all students involved!

2026 Hunter Schools Orienteering Championships

Fantastic results for SHS at the 2026 Hunter Schools Orienteering Championships!
Despite having a small team, SHS achieved an outstanding 2nd place in the Secondary School category! Congratulations to Fraiser (Year 11), who placed 2nd in the Under 16 Men's division and NJ (Year 9), who achieved an excellent result in the Men's Score C event.
All SHS students represented our school exceptionally well, demonstrating our PBL Core Values of Respect, Responsibility and Resilience throughout the championships.
We are incredibly proud of the whole team and their wonderful achievements. Congratulations!
