🎀 Biggest Morning Tea at Tiny Timms 🎀

On Tuesday the 26th of May, Tiny Timms will be hosting Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea for the 3rd year in a row! ☕🧁

We are proud to once again support the Cancer Council and help raise money for such an amazing cause. We will have a delicious spread of grab-and-go morning tea treats set up in the foyer for families, along with hot beverages available to take away.

We kindly ask that if you can, please make a donation in return to help support this important cause.

We will also be running our raffle again this year after it was such a huge hit last year! 🎟️✨

We can’t wait to raise some money together with our amazing families for such a meaningful cause.

🐾 Farmyard Fun at Tiny Timms! 🐾

Last Friday our nursery, toddler, and kindy children enjoyed a special visit from Old Mac Donald’s Travelling Farm, and what a wonderful morning it was! The children were so excited to meet a friendly goat, a gentle sheep, a very tiny 2-week-old lamb, several curious chickens, and a soft, snuggly rabbit.

There were lots of giggles (and maybe a few nervous squeals) when the chickens came a little too close. The goat and sheep brought a bit of uncertainty at first, but with some patient encouragement, the children loved the experience of brushing their hair and wool.

The rabbit quickly became the crowd favourite with its calm cuddles and soft fur, but once our farm friends headed off, it was clear that every child had chosen a different animal to chat excitedly about.

Thank you to our visiting farm for such a memorable, hands-on experience! 🐐🐑🐥🐰
We can’t wait for our next adventure together.

🌟 What a busy few months it’s been at Tiny Timms! 🌟

We’ve had such a wonderful time hosting our very first Grandparents Morning Tea and celebrating with the children at our fun-filled Halloween Party 🎃👻

There’s still so much excitement ahead as we finish off the year!

Farmyard on Wheels! 🐓

Friday the 9th of September at 10:30am Farmyard on Wheels is visiting Tiny Timms.

We have limited causal spaces available so if you’d like to book your children in for this day please let me know.

COVID-19 Update:
Hello Families,

Please be advised of our updated policy that currently reflects the Western Australian Government’s mandate.

😷 Families, Staff, Stakeholders and Visitors are required to wear masks indoors and when unable to socially distance outdoors.

🤧 If you or your children are exhibiting any signs of illness please do not attend the centre/oshc and notify us as soon as possible. If your child starts to exhibit signs of illness while in care parents/guardians will be required to collect them as soon as possible.

🤒 If you have attended an exposure site please ensure you inform staff and follow the government’s instruction in regards to testing and isolation.

📱Please remember to scan the QR code at either the centre or OSHC entrance with the ServiceWA or SafeWA App.

Our Centre is run by the Owner Melissa Timms who is an experienced, innovative Level 3 Primary School Teacher. She has a Bachelor of Education (Primary) a Bachelor of Arts Education (Early Childhood) and an Associate Diploma of Social Science (Child Care). She also has a hands on approach to the Centre by also working as the Qualified Teacher for the Centre.
At Tiny Timms we offer structured and unstructured activities during every session for ages 0 – 12, offering Long Day Care, Before/After School Care and Vacation Care. Some of these activities include arts and crafts, sports, games, quiet assisted homework areas. Our activities are catered to children’s interests and abilities. We pride ourselves on knowing your child as a unique individual. Our programs are fun and age appropriate to suit all children in our care.
About the role!
We are currently looking for an Educator to join our team. Consideration is for either a Cert III and Diploma to provide our children with care and education. The position is casual 15-20 hrs/week.
What we are looking for:
• Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid Certificate, including CPR
• You have the right to work in Australia
• Fully vaccinated for COVID19
• You can work with (and relate to) children aged 0 - 12 years. You like the idea of encouraging them to be creative, develop friendships, and pursue a diverse range of interests.
• A passion for Early Childhood Education
• You’re a team player who’s willing to go out of your way for others.
• You can follow a detailed programme plan, but also come up with fresh ideas.
If you are a passionate, positive and motivated person who loves working with children, we want to meet you.
