EMERGENCY DRILLS
From 03/08/26 to 07/8/26 Educators and Children will be practicing emergency drills in case of a real life scenarios as per regulations.

Singleton Preschool has a commitment to the Child Safe Standards.

Key Components of our Commitment to Child Safe Standards are:

Zero Tolerance: Adopting a strict approach that makes child safety a top priority and mandates immediate reporting of any suspected abuse or neglect.

Cultural Embedding: Integrating child safety into organizational culture, leadership, and governance, rather than just acting as a compliance exercise.

National Principles & Standards: Following guidelines that emphasize the safety, rights, and inclusion of all children, particularly focusing on vulnerable groups (Aboriginal children, children with disabilities, etc.).

Risk Mitigation: Actively identifying, managing, and reducing risks to child safety within the organization, including, but not limited to, child sexual abuse.

Empowering Children: Ensuring children are aware of their rights, are listened to, and know who to approach if they feel unsafe.
