🏉🏐 What a way to finish the term! 🏐🏉

After a huge term filled with learning, challenges and plenty of hard work, everyone was certainly feeling a little tired and exhausted by the last day! So, what better way to finish than with our footy colours day! We were thrilled to welcome the simpson football club to school to run a fantastic football and netball clinic for our students. It was wonderful to have the club here, along with President Croley who joined us for the day.

The students had a fantastic time getting active, learning some new skills and enjoying some football/netball fun. We would also like to thank the club for their incredible generosity in providing Simpson Football Club stickers for every student. They were a huge hit!

By the end of the day, the students were already asking, “Can they come back next year?” It sounds like we may have the beginnings of an annual footy colours day!

A huge thank you to the Simpson Tigers and Aaron for helping us finish the term on such a fun and positive note.

Bring on the holidays everyone has certainly earned them! 🏉🏐

📚✨ BOOK FAIR IS COMING! ✨📚

We are so excited to announce that our Book Fair is running from Monday, 17th August until Monday, 31st August!

Our Book Fair will be set up in the school foyer, and we’d love for our students, families, parents, carers and members of our community to come along and have a browse! There are some fantastic books and goodies to choose from, so make sure you pop in, have a browse and find your next great read! There are plenty of great reads available for just $5, so it’s a great opportunity to grab a new book without breaking the bank! And, of course, our classroom teachers couldn’t resist having a bit of fun trying out the animal boxing pens!

Welcome back Simpson Playgroup. We look forward to joining you for some great early learning activities.

Great news, Simpson Playgroup returns next week, Tuesday from 10.30am-12.30pm in the rear of the Early Childhood Education Centre. Playgroup is open to all families with young children, just bring a water bottle and a piece of fruit to share.
