🪻 Community Memorial for Lily 🪻

In memory of Lily Hooper, there will be a community memorial at Willis Park, Oakdale from 5pm this afternoon and over the weekend.

This is an opportunity for friends and community members to come together to grieve, support one another and remember Lily in their own time.

You may like to bring flowers or LED lights, or simply come along and share in a moment of reflection at this very sad time.

To keep everyone safe, please don’t bring any open flames and park safely.

There’s a lot happening behind the scenes at Warragamba Silverdale Neighbourhood Centre (WSNC), so we thought we’d share some fun facts about the impact our community helps us create! 👇

🌱 DID YOU KNOW?
When our Foodbank Sustainable Food Program first started, we supported around 32 community members.

Today, we support more than 123 community members EVERY WEEK to access affordable food options — and this number continues to grow each week 🛒🥕🍎

Our WSNC Foodbank Sustainable Food Program is not a funded program!

The program is sustained through WSNC fundraising, donations and community support, helping us purchase essential items and keep affordable food options available for our community. if you would like to be a WSNC Foodbank Program sponsor please reach out via [email protected]

The amazing food trucks that attend WSNC also help support our community!

Food trucks contribute a donation towards our Foodbank Sustainable Food Program, with those contributions going directly towards helping us purchase essential items and continue the program. So when you support a food truck at WSNC, you’re also helping support our community! 💛

Despite our name, WSNC doesn’t just support Warragamba and Silverdale!

Our work, partnerships, programs and community support extend across the Wollondilly, Liverpool, Camden and Penrith regions, helping us connect with and support people, families and communities across a much wider area. 🤝

We couldn’t do what we do without our incredible volunteers, Woolworths Silverdale, Good360, local businesses, food trucks, donors, contributors, partners and community supporters.

Join Warragamba Silverdale Neighbourhood Centre (WSNC) for a beautiful day out at Tulip Fest Bowral.
