HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to all the Dads in our Silkwood State School family💙🥰

Here is some of the 3-6 class with the BBQ Spice Rub they handmade themselves for the special people in their lives. Oh by the way, they also designed and produced the labels using PowerPoint!

Mr Catt even got his very own jar of BBQ spice rub.

Our Year 6 students were gifted a pen by Mr Catt recently so they can begin writing in pen in preparation for high school.

Week 5 - Term 3 Attendance Reward

Thank you to Silkwood Bowls Club for hosting these students for a social game of bowls.

Students who have achieved 95% or above attendance were transported by bus to Silkwood Bowls Club.

The students enjoyed learning how to use the bowls correctly, getting them to curve in and counting the points won. It got quite competitive when the boys vs the girls.
