Two photos of the oosh food breakfast and afternoon tea. The morning is a buffet of selections each and every morning including youghurt, fruit, two choices of cerial and most mornings toast. We also offer a baked good like pancakes, banana bread or pastery on selected mornings. Afternoon tea is at least three choices of fruit, vegetables sticks today was cellery, cheese, crackers and a meal. Yesterday was fresh made rainbow pasta salad. Water is on offer all the time Milo occasionally and juice very rarely.

This week is national science week. So we are all about exploring experimenting and discovering experiences. Today we looked at reflection of light, we made kaleidoscope and we looked at how molecules can stick together. Yes we made slime. STEM sciences are such an important part of a child's education and also an area females are still not as well represented. sometimes the best way to learn is to get elbows deep and a little messy. We deal with the mess so you don't have to at home, your very welcome. 😁😁😉.

It was all about food at oosh this week. With the wet weather joining us once again we had a week long look at cooking. The children made pizza and Nachos in the afternoon group. With plenty of assistance from the leaders of course.

Hello Families,
Unfortunately due to the school being non operational tomorrow we are unable to offer our serices to the school community. Our licence agreement will not allow us to operate the whole day.
We look forward to seeing you all when we reopen on Friday. If you require any change of schedule for your children for next term please contact us to arrange any changes.

Last week was National Reconciliation Week this is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
This week at OOSH the children were lucky enough enough to have a visit from The Animal Welfare League. The children learnt about animal care, the importance of being kind to all creatures big and small and were taught about microchipping our pets 🐕🐕🐕

Our group afternoon teas are a time for our OOSH children to wind down, talk about the highs and lows of their days, share stories and most importantly have fun and enjoy some healthy snacks.
This time is important for us at OOSH as it allows us to establish the children's interests which in turn helps us develop our program.
The children have had so much fun this week with the new hockey and cricket equipment 🏑🏏

The children had a fantastic afternoon at OOSH today. They tested out some new OOSH resources and enjoyed some cooking classes with Cindy, Brianna and Phil 🤩
