There is nothing quite like the joy of tiny feet on paper. Our Nursery children have been exploring sensory play this week. They have been having their little feet painted and stamped to create the most beautiful winter artwork. Our educators loved every giggle-filled moment just as much as the children did.

Big things are happening at Guthrie Street! The children have been absolutely loving exploring our brand new play spaces, from climbing and balancing to imaginative adventures on the high seas. Watching them move, discover and thrive out here every day is exactly why we do what we do.

🌿 Bush Kinder never gets old.

At Guthrie Street, our little adventurers head out to explore their natural surroundings, getting curious about bugs, balancing on logs, collecting leaves and discovering that even winter has its own kind of magic. ❄️🌳

These moments build more than memories. They build resilience, confidence, and a deep respect for the natural world that stays with children long after the mud washes off.

We're looking for casual educators to join the Guthrie Street team. 🌿

If you hold a Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, and you're looking for flexible shifts in a centre that actually values its staff, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll get here: a team that has your back, shifts between 6:30 am - 6:30 pm, and work that genuinely matters.

Recently our 4-year-old kindergarten children had a fantastic time on their excursion to Riverside Gardens in Kialla, where they enjoyed a fun game of mini golf with their friends.

The children embraced the experience with enthusiasm and excitement, showing wonderful teamwork, communication, and confidence as they played together in a new environment. It was a joy to see them encouraging one another and having so much fun.

Excursions like these provide children with opportunities to build independence, social skills, and confidence through shared experiences.

Role play and home corner experiences are such an important part of early childhood, giving children the opportunity to explore the world around them through imagination, connection, and meaningful play.

A few weeks ago, our 4-Year-Old Kinder children enjoyed another wonderful day of Bush Kinder, exploring their natural surroundings and engaging in meaningful outdoor learning experiences. 🌟

It was also a pleasure to have Tess and Amy, our Operational Managers, join the walk and experience firsthand the joy and benefits of our Bush Kinder program. The day provided a fantastic opportunity to see the children learning, discovering, and thriving in nature.

Experiences like Bush Kinder support children to build confidence, independence, curiosity, and a deeper connection with the world around them.
