To celebrate Book Week 2026 – Symphony of Stories, we are excited to invite all students to come to school dressed as their favourite book character tomorrow, Friday 28 August 🎭📖

We're looking forward to the 2026 edition of our Athletics Day tomorrow! 🏃

We're looking forward to a very exciting week ahead, with lots happening across the school!

On Wednesday, we have Athletics Day, followed by our Book Week Parent Morning on Thursday and our whole-school Book Week event on Friday.

It's a wonderful week of opportunities for our students to get involved, have fun, celebrate their achievements and share their love of learning with our school community.

Year 12 student Harli has been busy creating Banmira-themed characters to promote the upcoming events 🎨

Across our Junior and Senior Campuses, we’ll be celebrating stories and building a love of reading throughout the week.

Families are invited to join us for reading and fun on Thursday morning, before our whole school comes together on Friday for activities, celebrations and our costume parade!

Don’t forget to get your favourite costume ready!

Reminder: Student Free Days

A reminder to families that Banmira staff will be completing their annual Team Teach Training this week.

Thursday 20th August: Senior Campus students will have a Student Free Day.

Friday 21st August: Junior Campus students will have a Student Free Day.
