🌱🐞 Our Year 3 students enjoyed a fantastic day at the Australian Botanic Gardens in Shepparton as part of their Design and Technologies unit.

With Parks Victoria, they explored the world of minibeasts, learned about their role in healthy ecosystems, and collected natural materials to create their own minibeast hotels back at school.

A big thank you to Parks Victoria for such a fun and valuable learning experience!

✨📖 What a spectacular Book Week Parade! 📖✨

Students wowed us with their incredible costumes as they stepped straight from the pages of their favourite books and into our annual Book Week celebration. This year's theme, "Symphony of Stories," was truly brought to life through creativity, colour and imagination.

Thank you to all the families who joined us and to our amazing staff and students for making the event such a memorable celebration of reading, storytelling and fun.

📚🎭 Book Week Parade Reminder! 🎭📚

We can't wait to celebrate Book Week this Friday with our annual Book Week Parade!

Students from Prep to Year 9 are invited to come dressed as their favourite book character and join us as we celebrate this year's theme, Symphony of Stories. Families are welcome to join us for this special event.

A few reminders: 📖 Costumes must be based on a character from a book
📚 Students are to bring along the book their character is from
🚫 No weapons or replica weapons
😷 No full face masks

We can't wait to see the wonderful costumes and celebrate a love of reading together!

💛 R U OK? Day Family Event 💛

We are excited to invite our All Saints staff, students and families to our annual R U OK? Day Family Event on Thursday 10 September.

This year promises to be our biggest and best yet, with more food trucks, entertainment and activities than ever before. It’s a wonderful opportunity to come together as a school community, enjoy a fun evening and strengthen the connections that make All Saints so special.

R U OK? Day is an important reminder that a simple conversation can make a meaningful difference. Let’s take the time to check in with those around us and remind one another that support is always available.

This is an All Saints staff, student and family event only. Please note that this is a smoke-free and alcohol-free event.

👮 Today we welcomed our local Police Community Liaison Officer to school!
Students in Years 7 and 8, along with our Year 9 Legal Studies class, participated in informative sessions on cyber safety, respectful relationships, consent and personal safety.
The officer also joined Mrs Hardy on yard duty, chatting with students and answering questions from all year levels.

Our Year 3 students recently worked alongside Greater Shepparton City Council to plant native trees around our school grounds.

As part of our RAVE program, students explored how we can care for and appreciate God’s creation, while also learning about the important role native trees play in supporting wildlife, biodiversity and a sustainable environment.

We are so grateful for our local community partnerships and the opportunity to learn, grow and make a difference together.

Well done to our Year 9 students who completed a First Aid Course this morning as part of their Careers and Service subject. ⛑️

Learning first aid is an important life skill, equipping students with the knowledge and confidence to respond in emergencies and support others in times of need.

🌳Grade 5 & 6 Italian with Mrs Nicolaci 🌳

Our theme in Italian has been "Famiglia" (Family). Students combined their Italian language learning with Art by creating beautiful abstract family trees. They designed colourful trees and included special boxes for each family member, writing sentences in Italian to introduce their family.

The students practised:

• Mia sorella si chiama….. – My sister's name is...
