Earlier this year, year 12 Atar Visual Arts student Layne McFarlane was selected to work under the mentorship of the well-known James Giddy a Perth based mural artist for his commission of a mural at Claremont pool. Congratulations on this beautiful collaboration Layne. A well-deserved application and opportunity!

Our biggest Congratulations to year 12 Atar Visual Arts student Jolie Reutens, who had her artwork ‘Me, Myself and I’ selected as part of only 30 finalists nation wide for the Lester Prize Youth Awards. We are so proud of you Jolie!

The Lester Prize Youth Awards exhibition is held in the Old Goal building at the Western Australian Museum Boola Bardip from 24 April to 19 July 2026.
