Let's begin with a little about myself... I have worked as a full time qualified teacher for the past 7 years within multi-aged classrooms. In my first 3 years of teaching I taught at Chevallum State School on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Whilst at Chevallum I taught a Grade 2/3/4 multi aged classroom before moving to Gindie, Queensland to complete my remote teaching service. Whilst teaching at
Gindie State School, I was responsible for teaching the Junior school (Grades Prep/1/2) and teaching the whole school once a week (Grades Prep/1/2/3/4/5/6) to allow our principal to complete his administration duties. I love teaching and am very passionate about helping children become more effective learners. I believe it is very important to build positive relationships with my students and to help them develop effective thinking and learning techniques. Following your first appointment with Kayla Eve Tutoring, you will be provided with a detailed report of your child’s current abilities and a list of their individual ‘Learning Goals’. At the end of each term you will also be provided with a follow up assessment detailing your child’s progress since receiving one on one tutoring. Over my years in teaching, I have collected and refined many teaching resources.
