Term 3 - Week 7 - TLSC Together
It was great to be back on deck last week. A week where we proudly acknowledged the vital contributions of our School Support Staff as part of Recognition Week, celebrating their ongoing dedication across all campuses. Our Junior College Netball and Basketball teams again enjoyed success on the court, showcasing their skills and teamwork.
At Berkeley Vale Campus, highlights included Literacy & Numeracy Week activities featuring a special video launch and livestream across NSW and the U15 Rugby League 9’s team proudly represented the campus. Students also showcased their creativity in the Photography Competition and performed impressively in the HPGE Berkeley Vale Dance Collective rehearsal. Marine Studies students explored marine life on an exciting visit to the Sea Life Aquarium. At Tumbi Umbi staff and student got behind Jersey Day. Year 7 students embarked on a fun and educational Taronga Zoo excursion and Year 9 Geography fieldwork at Terrigal provided hands-on learning experiences. Tumbi Umbi's chess team continued their winning streak in the competitive Interschool Chess Championships. Meanwhile, students at The Entrance Campus have begun to receive Early Entry University Offers for 2027, and celebrated achievements at both the State Oztag Carnival and Northern NSW Futsal Championships - our Futsal team crowned Champions. HSC Practical Examinations took place with our HSC Visual Arts students submitting their impressive artworks, and our Drama students performed their practical components. Similarly, HSC Industrial Technology - Timber project marking also took place.
A big thank you to all staff for their commitment to the teaching and learning opportunities, both inside and outside the classroom, making Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College a supportive, dynamic, and inspiring place to learn and grow.
