MUSIC GALA | Nearly 600 students, 21 tutors, 28 ensembles... one incredible evening! Our annual Music Gala celebrated the depth, diversity and talent of Sheldon College’s Performance Music program, with audiences treated to an outstanding showcase of musicianship and entertainment. The power of music education lies in its ability to inspire, challenge and bring people together, and Saturday night was a wonderful reminder of that!

At the end of Term 2, we celebrated students at the College who take vocal lessons through our annual SING! Concert. The evening was another joyful event showcasing students' hard work and dedication to their vocal studies at the College. With 129 students taking lessons across our Junior, Middle and Senior Colleges, it was a wonderful event to share their experiences with a live audience.

ROCK FEST | Before they take the stage, get a sneak peek of the talent and teamwork behind this year's Rock Fest! Our very own Taylor Made will proudly represent Sheldon College at Rock Fest 2026, joining talented student musicians from schools across South East Queensland for an evening of live music, creativity and collaboration. Hosted by John Paul College, Rock Fest brings together young performers from Sheldon College, Canterbury College, Clairvaux Mackillop College and Gregory Terrace College in a celebration of emerging musical talent. Check out the preview video featuring musicians from all participating schools performing Time Is Running Out by Muse, then come along and support Taylor Made live on Saturday, 13 June.

GENERATIONS & JAZZ | This Saturday, the Sheldon College Big Band will take to the stage alongside experienced musicians and fellow student performers for an unforgettable evening of jazz. Featuring a mix of classics and contemporary favourites, Generations & Jazz celebrates the power of music to bring people together across generations. Opening Night is Here!
After months of dedication, rehearsals, and behind-the-scenes magic, our students from the Australian School of the Arts are ready to take the stage tonight for Beauty and the Beast at the RPAC.
From the first note to the final bow, this production is a true celebration of creativity, collaboration, and the incredible passion of our young performers.
