Weโ€™re excited to be moving forward with the upgrade of our handball courts! While there has been a slight delay due to new requirements around the classification of shade structures for schools, this has provided an opportunity to make sure the project is fully certified, compliant and designed to deliver the best possible space for our students now and into the future.

As part of the updated design, weโ€™re also moving away from water tanks and instead installing downpipes connected to underground drainage.

๐Ÿšง ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐ž๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ž:

During this time, the courts will be unavailable for use.

๐Ÿ… No registration is required! If you're keen to participate, simply arrive and Queensland Academy of Sport staff will assist with your registration.

Delivered by the ๐๐ฎ๐ž๐ž๐ง๐ฌ๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐ ๐€๐œ๐š๐๐ž๐ฆ๐ฒ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐’๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ, the session includes a range of physical tests designed to identify your sporting potential and match you with sports you may be best suited to. Activities include vertical jump, sprinting, medicine ball throws, the beep test, balance testing and more.

๐ŸŽฅ The ABC will also be on site interviewing the athletes of the future, so you might even get the chance to appear on TV and showcase your talent!

During Week 2 (20โ€“24 July), our school community will come together to honour NAIDOC Week by recognising the rich history, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This year's celebrations are an opportunity to honour the past, celebrate today and help build tomorrow, while raising funds for our Native Bush Tucker Garden and Outdoor Learning Space.

Throughout the week, students will have the opportunity to participate in:

๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Fundraising Raffle ($2 each or 3 for $5)
