Something exciting is taking shape at Woodlands Early Education Centre

The soft fall is being laid, ready for the fresh new synthetic turf-and we’re another step closer to bringing this incredible outdoor space to life.

We can already imagine the laughter, adventures and endless sliding fun waiting to happen.

The countdown is officially on, and we can’t wait to see the children exploring, playing and creating special memories in their new playground.

At QCCS there is so much to discover when the natural environment becomes the classroom.

During Creek Kindy, our children have the opportunity to explore, investigate and connect with nature through meaningful, hands-on experiences. From navigating uneven terrain and observing local wildlife to imaginative play and exciting discoveries, every adventure inspires curiosity, confidence and a deeper appreciation for the world around them.

Our Woodlands Early Education Centre Directors, **Miss Cat and Miss Nicole**, couldn’t resist testing out the exciting new slides—and Miss Cat even showed off her skills on the monkey bars! 🤩🛝

It looks like the new playground equipment has received their official tick of approval! ✅

The transformation is coming together beautifully, and we can’t wait to see the finished result or watch the children explore, climb, slide and create new memories in their refreshed playground. 🌿💚

💙 CHILD SAFETY WEEK 💙
Every child has the right to feel safe, be heard and be treated with respect.

Throughout Child Safety Week, we’re highlighting the everyday actions our educators take to protect children and create environments where they feel secure, supported and valued.

QCCS has proudly submitted our organisation-wide pledge to NAPCAN:

Our The Prince Charles Hospital Early Education Centre and Chermside Early Education Centre & Pre-school children came together for Beach Kindy, sharing the joy of outdoor learning and making new friends along the way. 💚

We love seeing our centres connect, explore and learn together, with the beach as their classroom! 🐚
