This week we celebrate all of our incredible Education Support staff at St Mary’s College. A reminder that our Father's Day Breakfast will be held tomorrow from 7:30am in the Quadrangle. 🍳

We have some fantastic lucky door prizes up for grabs, and our P&F Association will also be running a raffle with some fabulous prizes to be won.

Yesterday, we welcomed some of our future Year 7 students who will be joining us in 2027 for their first Taster Session! 💙💛

Our Taster Sessions are a wonderful opportunity for students from different primary schools to meet one another and begin building connections as they prepare for their transition to Secondary School.

Throughout the sessions, students become more familiar with the College, explore our learning spaces and experience some of the subjects they’ll be part of next year.

A great first step in their Year 7 journey at St Mary’s College!

🏏 Cricket Blast Cup Champions! 🏆

Yesterday, our Year 3-6 students represented St Mary's College at the Cricket Blast Cup against Seymour College at Chittick Park.

It was wonderful to see our students showcasing their cricket skills, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the day while enjoying some friendly competition.

We're proud to share that St Mary's were the overall winners of the day! 🎉

A huge congratulations to all of our students, and thank you to our staff and parent helpers for your support in making the day such a success. 👏🏻💙💛

Alumni 💫

We recently welcomed former student Tobi Griffiths back to St Mary's College to speak with our Year 9 and 10 students.

Tobi attended the College from 2001 to 2009 and has since built a successful career in the Australian Army, where he now serves as a Sergeant.

Sharing stories from his own journey, Tobi spoke about the importance of mateship, resilience, perspective, and finding success through service to others. His honest and inspiring message left a lasting impression on everyone in the room.

One quote in particular resonated with students and staff alike:

"Life isn't always about what you achieve. Sometimes it's about what you can give."

Thank you, Tobi, for returning to share your experiences and wisdom with the next generation of St Mary's students.

🏀 Congratulations to our students who represented St Mary's College at yesterday's Basketball Round Robin!

Our Year 7 boys had an outstanding day, finishing undefeated, while our Year 8 boys played brilliantly and narrowly missed out in the final.

Our girls also had a fantastic day, competing strongly in every game and showing great teamwork and determination on the court.

A big thank you to our staff and students who assisted with refereeing throughout the day as well as our parent helpers . 👏💙💛
