LET'S DO IT AGAIN.
Last Fin Year we gave away over $21,000 in accommodation and facility use to small orgs that are working hard to make the world a better place!
Our grants are open again.

Enspiral are a grass roots organisation that seeks to bring people together to inspire new ways of doing things and new ways to solve problems. They were grant recipients in 2025 and 2026!
Applications close on 31 August 2026.

Over the past 40 years Commonground has provided retreat and conference facilities to smaller organisations that have been working hard to have a positive impact on in the world.

For many organisations doing incredible work to bring about social change the opportunity to bring the team together or to run a small conference is simply not affordable.

In order to expand the number of organisations we help, we have created the Commonground Grants program, offering over $30,000 worth of accommodation and venue use to smaller NFPs so that they can increase the value of the work they do for the greater community.

It's a magic time of year at Commonground.

The winter solstice celebrates the shortest day of the year and the longest night.

It is celebrated throughout Australia with bonfires, fireside conversations, and family and friends.

At Commonground we came together to work and play and enjoy the winter landscape.

It has been the perfect weather for mushrooms, a good drenching of rain and a bit of sunshine.

Our food is prepared onsite according to dietary requirements and most importantly with love!

Our vision is for a just, non-violent, sustainable world, and coming together to work and play at Commonground helps us to maintain this vision.

Our gatherings support this vision by bringing people together to at Commonground to build relationships, look after the property and buildings, and to make sure we have firewood for the winter months.
