The vegetables Waalitj (Year 3) planted have grown beautifully, and it was finally time to harvest! Our students enjoyed picking the fresh produce and turning it into a delicious, healthy salad.🥕🥬🍅🥒🥗

Meet Fudge!🐶🐾

Our wonderful school dog, Fudge, brings plenty of smiles, cuddles and joy to our school community!

Fudge is always happy to see our students and is a much-loved member of our school family. 🐾

Ngoolark (Year 4-6) have been exploring ecosystems, animal adaptations, and food chains before bringing their learning to life by designing and building bug hotels. This wonderful hands-on experience that encouraged curiosity, creativity, and a deeper understanding of how living things depend on one another in the environment.

Our Kaarak (Year 2) students proudly represented Eton Farm in the SJ Remembers Oral History Challenge as part of their HASS learning.

After preparing thoughtful interview questions, they interviewed our wonderful local historian and principal, Mary, at school and around significant Serpentine landmarks, including the Old Bridge School, St Stephen's Church, Turner Cottage, and the Cemetery.

Their hard work earned them 1st Place!🏆 We are so proud of the outstanding teamwork, respectful listening, and curiosity they showed throughout the project. Congratulations, Kaarak! 💚

🌿 **Waste-Free Wednesday at Eton Farm** 🌿

Caring for our environment starts with small, everyday actions.

This term, our students and families embraced **Waste-Free Wednesday**, increasing waste-free lunches from **71% to an incredible 95%**! 🌱

By choosing reusable containers, fresh foods and reducing packaging, our school community is helping care for our beautiful farm and the world around us.

We're incredibly proud of what our students have achieved and can't wait to continue the challenge in Term 3.

💚 Small changes. Big impact. Growing thoughtful, environmentally responsible citizens—one lunchbox at a time.

We are thrilled to share that Aria and Evie have been selected to participate in the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale Junior Council Program 2026.

This wonderful leadership opportunity will allow them to learn about local government, represent young people in our community and contribute ideas to help shape the future of the Shire.

We are very proud of both students and look forward to seeing them grow as leaders throughout the year.
