Today we celebrated Wear It Purple Day! The Wellbeing Hub was busy with activities such as cupcake decorating, jewellery making and colouring in! We were joined by David Wilkins MP for the lunchtime activities! The theme this year was Colours of Courage which celebrates the many different forms of courage shown by LGBTQIA+SB young people, allies and communities every day.

Wednesday saw some of our Year 10 students attend the Active Citizenship Convention at the Adelaide Oval. Students from across the state have gathered this week to learn about democracy, AI and citizenship. Students heard from Tony Armstrong, politicians and the Governor of South Australia.

We're asking for your feedback on proposed upgrades to the playground, court and equipment at R B Connolly Reserve. If you use, play or live around this reserve, we want to hear from you.

With funding of $1.15 million we’ve received from the State Government, we’re planning to install new play equipment in the playground, including a climbing tower, swings, slides, climbing equipment and rubber soft fall. We're also proposing to upgrade the current small sport court to include a full-size multisport court lined for multiple sports.

Le Fevre High School will be celebrating Wear It Purple Day on Friday this week with activities running at recess and lunch in the Wellbeing Hub. All students are encouraged to wear a splash of purple to show their support for inclusivity and to create a welcoming environment for everyone in our community including LGBTQIA+SB members.

Get a taste of our SALA Festival exhibition, featuring artwork from the talented Visual Arts students of Le Fevre High School. Bold mixed-media pieces, thoughtful illustrations, and contemporary works, all created by some talented young creatives in our community.

While you're there, scan the QR code to vote for your favourite! Prizes will be awarded across five categories: People's Choice, Best Junior Student (Year 7–9), Best Senior Student (Year 10–12), Most Unique, and Most Skilled. 🗳️

There's still time to see it in person. The exhibition is open daily until 27 August, located near The Reject Shop.

Happy SSO Week!!! Would like to thank each and every one of our ancillary staff for everything they do!! Our school would fall apart without the important work all of our SSOs do!
SSOs were treated this week with morning tea, massage sessions with Ru from Blue Stone Massage and words of affirmation from our students.

Please note that we have upcoming professional development and school closure days.
Staff will be involved in professional development on Friday the 4th of September and the school will be closed on Monday the 7th of September.
Classes will not be running on these days.
