Congratulations to Australia's two newest Ryukyu Kobudo Hozonkai blackbelts, Paul Veldman and Darren Hoggan. The gradings were at the end of our 2026 training tour and were presided over by Satoshi Kinjo sensei, his brother Kenta, and many senior members of the Kubagawa Honbu dojo.

Damien Martin, the Australian branch chief, is currently in Yongchun China competing in the Yongchun Kung Fu Invitational tournament. He took a gold.medal innhis division with Shushi no Kun Sho. He is stopping in Okinawa to train at the Honbu dojo.
