🌼Harmony Week is a special time that celebrates diversity, inclusion, and respect for everyone, regardless of their cultural background.🌍
It reminds us that Australia is a multicultural country where people from many different cultures, languages, and traditions live together in harmony.🌟

At school, we celebrated Harmony Week making friendship braclets, reading stories, dancing. Students were encouraged to wear orange, the official colour of Harmony Week, which represents social communication and meaningful conversations. Many students also chose to wear traditional cultural clothing, proudly sharing their heritage with others. It was wonderful to see such a colourful mix of outfits and to learn about different cultures in our community.

The disco was full of music, dancing, and laughter, bringing everyone together. It was a great way to celebrate what makes each of us unique while also recognising that we all belong. Harmony Week helps us remember the importance of kindness, respect, and inclusion every day.

Acquaintance afternoon was a great success. We enjoyed meeting and welcoming our new and existing families to Seaton Park Primary.

A big thank you to our amazing volunteers and staff who helped with the barbecue and with games in the gym.

Some photos from our amazing Seaton Celebrates tonight.
Thanks to all our staff, students and volunteers who made it happen, and our community, who came to watch and support our students make this school event amazing.
It was a great night, we are very proud of all the student performances!

Coloured sand products used by some schools and preschools have been recalled by the ACCC due to potentially containing asbestos.

If a product is unlabelled, we’ll treat it as if it’s a recalled product.

We are following the highest national safety guidelines and working closely with SafeWork SA to make sure the sand is removed safely. The risk is very low.

As part of our Professional Development Day, staff engaged in meaningful learning and reflection on the year. We wrapped up the day with a fun team-bonding activity.

It is our favourite time of the year, Beach volleyball time. We have had a highly successful day, with all students performing exceptionally well. Congratulations to our 4/5 girls on achieving a second place. We had an extremely enjoyable day with plenty of fun. 🏐😊
