Hi all,
If you haven’t heard already, no training tonight due to the weather.
Due to a few cancellations, I think it’s best to give it a miss and back to it on Monday.

So much to take in but it’s been fun so far… and we haven’t killed each other yet so, Bonus!

Friendly reminder of the change in training times, commencing tonight:
Taekwondo
6:30pm-7:30pm
Hapkido
7:00pm-8:00pm
I encourage all Hapkido students to turn up early for the warm-up before and all the Taekwondo students to stick around for the remainder of the Hapkido class after. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it!!

Hello all,
Hate to say it, but training is cancelled for tonight and basically for the rest of term.
Unfortunately Rona has found its way into my home and while I haven’t come down with any symptoms myself, I am a household contact.
This is most annoying, considering how busy the next couple of sessions were going to be leading up to next week’s grading, but I have no other options.
The best thing to do now is keep practicing and we’ll recap in the new term and run our grading then.
I do apologise, but it’s a sad part of our lives at the moment.

Apologies for this week. It’s not been a good one unfortunately.
At the stage, I must delay our restart until next Thursday (10/02/2022) due to personal issues. Hapkido will restart with Adam next Tuesday for those students involved.
I am sorry and hope you all understand. I appreciate your patience.

Hi all,
Apologies for the late notice but everything’s been up in the air due to the constant changing of the rules around Covid restrictions.
We will finally, hopefully resume training on Monday the 31st January, but there are some changes that need to be implemented, although probably not gonna be too popular with some.
Unfortunately, the first change is cancellation of the 4-6 year old class. I’m not dictating to anyone in regard to vaccinations, but with the risks already present in child/daycare centres, I’m not going to add to the risk at this stage. Hopefully once everything is under control again, we will start back up again.

Training times:
White and Yellow belts (6 years old and above)
Monday and Thursday 6:30-7:30pm
Blue, Red and Black belts
Monday and Thursday 7:30-8:30pm
Hapkido times as normal.

Masks and QR is still mandatory
No mask req’d when training, obviously
If you’re not feeling the best, stay home!! I don’t care if it’s only a sniffle
There are some restrictions on how many in a class, but we should be ok
There’s some changes to membership, but I’ll inform you all when we return

Hi all,
Sorry notice is a bit late, but just to let you know tonight is the last session for the 4-6 year olds for 2021.
I hope they’ve enjoyed themselves this year and I must admit, I’ve seen much improvement in them. I hope this also is evident at home.
I hope they can get there tonight, otherwise, I wish you and your families a very merry Christmas.
I’ll let you all know when 2022 resumes.

Hi all,
Sorry for the late notice. We are back tonite, but there are still some restrictions that need adherence.
Please limit one person/parent per student if you are watching. Everyone NOT involved in training, ie spectators, must wear a mask and must scan the QR code on entry.
If this is against anyone’s beliefs, I respect that, but also respect the fact you will not be permitted to remain in the gym if you choose no to comply.
Any problems, please let me know.

Hi again everyone,
Hope you’re all safe and not going too crazy🤪
As you all know, we come out of lockdown tomorrow, which is fantastic, but when we consider the restrictions still in place in relation to mask wearing and persons per square meter, it is still too restrictive to consider a return this week. I’m anticipating (with fingers and toes crossed) a further easing of these restrictions over the weekend and therefore believe it is in our interest to hold off this week and resume training next Monday evening.
There will be a slightly different direction for training this term, but I will discuss that with you all on Monday, all going well.
Apologies for any inconvenience or disappointment, but it seems to be par for the course lately. If there’s any change to this I’ll let you know, otherwise see you next Monday.
