Today, our Prep to Year 2 students caught the train to Seaford to enjoy “Maestro Flipper, Our Penguin Conductor!” by Carp Productions at Seaford Community Hall. 🎶🐧
A huge thank you to Seaford Library for inviting us to enjoy this fun and interactive celebration of books, stories and imagination!

🍳☕ Breakfast Club at Kananook Primary!💛💙

We are incredibly proud of our wonderful Breakfast Club, now running three mornings a week – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday! It is a chance for our students to enjoy breakfast together, catch up with friends and start their school day feeling welcomed, happy and ready to learn.

And now, with the addition of a Coffee Cart in regular attendance☕️, there’s something for our grown-ups too!

We are so grateful to the amazing volunteers who give their time, energy and smiles to make this program possible. ❤️ Your generosity is helping create something really special at Kananook, and we cannot thank you enough!

Thank you to everyone who comes along and helps make our mornings such a positive and welcoming part of school life.

🌊🐬 Back to Beach School! 🐬🌊

After plenty of time exploring at Bush School, we were so excited to finally make our way back to our beach location today thanks to the beautiful weather! ☀️

And what a special day it was… we were lucky enough to spot a dolphin! 🐬 We spent some time quietly watching it swim along the coastline before continuing our beach adventures.

We also got creative in the sand, writing words that reminded us of the beach and everything we love about our Beach School days. 🏖️✏️

A pretty perfect day to be learning outdoors! 💙🌊

We’re excited to be giving our school library, The Nook, a little Book Week boost! 💙💛

Families are invited to donate a brand-new book suitable for primary-aged children to help us continue building a fantastic collection for our students to enjoy. 📖✨

💙 If you donate a book, we’d love you to write a little message inside the front cover:
“Book donated by ________”

This will be a special way for students to see the families who have helped grow our library and leave a lasting contribution to The Nook. 🥰

Get ready to celebrate the Symphony of Stories at Kananook Primary School! 🎶📖

Join us on Thursday 27th August at 9:00am for a morning full of imagination, books and fun! 🌟

🧙‍♀️ Dress up as your favourite book character!
📚 Don’t forget to bring your book along too!

✨ 100 DAYS BRIGHTER! ✨🌈

On Friday, our Preps celebrated 100 days of school with a day full of colour, creativity and fun! 🌈 We made fairy bread, counted to 100 with Fruit Loops, created glittery crowns, reflected on all the amazing things we can do now, and enjoyed a movie and popcorn treat! 🍿🎬

Our Preps also took to the runway at assembly to show off their fabulous, bright and colourful outfits! 🌈👑
What a wonderful way to celebrate 100 days of learning, growing and shining bright! 💛✨
