Today, we came together for a special morning tea to recognise Men's Mental Health Week.

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, share a conversation, and take a moment to acknowledge the importance of mental health and wellbeing in our community.

At All Saints, we believe that looking after our mental health is just as important as looking after our physical health. By creating spaces where people feel supported, valued, and connected, we help build a stronger and more caring community for everyone.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us this morning and helped make the event such a positive occasion. ๐Ÿ’™

Week 6 of the Adventure to Thrive Program for some of our year 4โ€™s took us out to Onkaparinga Gorge.

It was a great day of connection, fresh air, and stepping outside comfort zones. The group supported each other throughout the adventure and made the most of the beautiful surroundings.

Adventure to Thrive is a wellbeing-based program designed to support students in building resilience, confidence, and positive connections through outdoor, experiential learning.

Each week, students take part in structured activities and excursions that encourage them to step outside their comfort zones, work as a team, and develop important social and emotional skills such as communication, problem-solving, and emotional regulation.

With two weeks left of the program, weโ€™re excited to see the growth continue.

Voices for Reconciliation 2026 ๐ŸŽถ

Last week, our students and staff headed out to the oval to take part in our annual Voices for Reconciliation recording.

As part of National Reconciliation Week, schools and community groups across Australia learn and perform a selected song chosen by Reconciliation Australia. This yearโ€™s song was the iconic Beds Are Burning by Midnight Oil - a powerful anthem that continues to raise awareness of Indigenous land rights and justice.

Despite the cold and blustery weather, our students performed with enthusiasm, respect, and heart. Using our new reversible school hats, we even attempted to create the Aboriginal flag from above while a drone captured the moment!

In the lead-up to the performance, students explored the history and meaning behind the song, helping them develop a deeper understanding of its message. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect music, history, and empathy while reflecting on the importance of reconciliation.

We are incredibly proud of the understanding, respect, and unity our students demonstrated. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ–ค

Thursday Library Mornings at Little Saints! โ˜•๐Ÿ“š

Join us at Little Saints Playgroup on Thursdays for a special visit to the All Saints School Library. Between 9:30โ€“9:50am, Playgroup families will head over to meet Michelle, explore our wonderful library, hear a story, and borrow books to enjoy at home. (Weโ€™ll just need your names for borrowing.)

After our library visit, weโ€™ll head back to playgroup where families are welcome to enjoy a cuppa and some biccies before snack time, singing, dancing, and all the usual fun activities begin.

Reading together from an early age helps children build language, listening, and early literacy skills, while also creating meaningful moments of connection between children and carers.

We look forward to sharing stories, songs, and fun with you every Thursday at Little Saints

Catholic Education Week is an annual celebration of the mission, values, and achievements of Catholic schools - a time to celebrate faith, community, and learning. ๐Ÿ’™

This week, our students marked the occasion by creating their own halos, reflecting the light, kindness, and compassion we are all called to share with others.

It was wonderful to see creativity, joy, and faith shining throughout our school community as we celebrated what makes Catholic education so special. โœจ
