All Saints Catholic Primary School, Seaford

Last Friday, our whole school came together to celebrate Indonesian Independence Day, and what a vibrant celebration it was! ❤️🤍

Students were treated to an incredible showcase of Indonesian culture throughout the day, including mesmerising Balinese dance, energetic Javanese drumming and Pencak Silat performances and workshops. There were also traditional Indonesian games and craft activities to enjoy, and everyone got involved wearing a splash of red and white to honour Indonesia's national colours - with plenty of red and white flags painted on cheeks too!

Our students also got to taste a little piece of Indonesia:
🍉 Our Reception to Year 2 friends enjoyed a delicious selection of tropical fruits including rambutan, lychee, jackfruit and dragonfruit, along with a mini fruit pudding cup with nata de coco.
🥔 Our Years 3 to 6 students sampled salted cassava chips and garlic kerupuk (rice crackers), with rambutan also on offer.

A huge thank you to Pak Jordan for organising such a very special day, the effort and passion behind this celebration truly shone through!

Next week we're having a Teddy Bear Picnic at Little Saints Playgroup! Children are invited to bring along their own teddy bear to join in the fun at music time, with lots of dancing, singing, and play along the way.

Today, we celebrated another PBIS Morning Tea with Mr Wright, recognising this term's latest group of outstanding PBIS Award winners. Each student was nominated for consistently demonstrating our All Saints values - being safe, respectful, and a learner.

These morning teas are such a great way to celebrate positive choices and strengthen our supportive school community. We can't wait to honour many more students throughout the year. 💙✨

Roar! Stomp! Get your inner Dinosaur on at Little Saints! 🦖

Next week we're all roaring like dinosaurs at Little Saints Playgroup! Children can become a T-Rex for the day, decorate their very own paper dinosaur, and join in our Dinosaur Dance. All your favourite activities will be there too, so come along to sing, stomp, roar, and make new friends.

Playgroup is a wonderful place for children to build confidence, creativity, language, and social skills through play, while families connect in a warm and welcoming environment.

World Principals Day is a lovely opportunity to take a moment to recognise the exceptional leaders at the heart of every school💙

School principals are more than educators: they are community builders, mentors, navigators and advocates for every child's wellbeing and success.

Mr Marsh led us in a beautiful assembly to celebrate the wonderful leadership team here at All Saints Catholic Primary School for World Principals Day.

Next week it's all about being fancy at Little Saints Playgroup. Children are invited to dress to impress in their fanciest clothes for a week of glitz, glamour, and play. We'll be reading the wonderful book Fancy Nancy, learning a little French, and enjoying a proper cup of tea!
