This September, you’re invited to step away from the pace of everyday life for three days of gentle adventure, nature journaling, storytelling and quiet moments in wild places.
Together we’ll wander through the Arid Lands Botanic Garden, spend two nights surrounded by nature at Pichi Richi Park, share meals around the campfire, sketch what we notice, and rediscover the simple joy of slowing down.
You don’t need to be an artist, writer, or an experienced bushwalker—just someone who feels ready to reconnect with nature (and perhaps with yourself).
📅 25–27 September 2026

💚 Accommodation, meals, guided walks, creative workshops and nature journaling kit included
This will be an intimate group experience and places are limited. We’d love to share this experience with you, book via the link in my bio and don’t miss out! 💚

Happy World Bee Day! 🧡
This little cutie is a Fimbriate Goniocolletes, just one of more than 200 native bee species found here in South Australia!
Did you know that across Australia, there are over 2,000 species of native bees? 🤯
Our native bees come in all shapes, sizes, and colours, and many are tiny, solitary, and often overlooked.. Each one plays an important role in pollinating our native plants and supporting healthy ecosystems (thanks guys 😅).

I’ve been taking part in photo challenge and today’s prompt was hands 🤲
We came across this little critter yesterday, an Aberrans Longhorn Beetle (Coptocercus aberrans). Their larvae actually live inside wood, they bore into dead or dying trees and feed on the timber as they grow. This helps break down decaying wood and recycle nutrients back into the soil 🌿
Love sharing these little garden discoveries with the kids!
