A message from Mr P…..🥺😢

What a journey the last two years have been!

After two years at St Mary’s Sea Lake, it’s pretty hard to put into words what this experience has meant to me. When I first started driving out to Sea Lake, I honestly had no idea how long the journey would last or what I was getting myself into. Two years later, I leave with some unbelievable memories, plenty of lessons learnt, and most importantly, friendships and connections that I know will last well beyond my time at the school.

To the amazing kids, staff, families and the wider Sea Lake community…thank you. Thank you for welcoming me, having a laugh with me and allowing me the opportunity to lead such a special little school.

Today summed it up perfectly. To finish the day with a genuine surprise from everyone at school and the community, and then have Megan and the kids unexpectedly turn up as well, is something I’ll never forget. You’re a bunch of absolute legends!

And a special thank you to my amazing wife Megan, who has held down the fort at home like she always does. With all the travelling and time spent on the road over the past two years, I certainly couldn’t have done it without her support. And also to Kate Quin in Swan Hill for supporting this opportunity for me.

The sign in this photo probably sums up better than anything what I’ve tried to stand for over the past two years and what I’ll continue trying to strive towards when I head back to St Mary’s in Swan Hill.

I certainly won’t be a stranger to Sea Lake. And we must always fight for our little schools!! 💪 They’re pretty special places, and this one will always mean a lot to me.

And finally, I wish Kate Nunn all the very best as she returns to St Mary’s. I know she’ll be surrounded and supported by an incredible group of staff, students, families and community members.

💙✨ One of the best things about St Mary’s Sea Lake is our school community. We create the opportunity to truly celebrate every child and make milestones like this extra special, and altogether!💙✨

Today we celebrated a very special one as our Foundation students reached 100 days of school! What a great achievement and a wonderful day of fun and … dancing (the Silent Disco was the highlight) 🎧 🕺 💃 🪩

A huge congratulations to our 100 Days royalty! Lenny, Audrey and Rudy! 👑 They all looked amazing and clearly loved soaking up the special attention!!

Watching our Foundation students grow in confidence, friendships and learning over their first 100 days has been such a joy. We are so proud of everything they have achieved and can’t wait to see what the future brings for them all.
