Our Prep Cox Stagoll students have been busy creating these amazing, colourful robot paintings ๐Ÿค–

As part of their Mathematics learning, students have been exploring shapes and used their knowledge to design and create their very own unique robots.

We love seeing Mathematics come to life through creativity and hands-on learning ๐ŸŒŸ

A big thank you to all the dads, grandads and special people in our studentsโ€™ lives who joined us for our Fatherโ€™s Day Breakfast ๐ŸŒŸ

We hope you enjoyed the delicious breakfast wraps and fresh fruit, prepared by the amazing volunteers at Red Dirt Cafe and Better Health 4 Dorset. It was wonderful to see so many of our families sharing the morning together.

Congratulations to the families who won 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes in our School Association Fatherโ€™s Day Raffle ๐ŸŽ‰
A fantastic amount was raised, with funds going towards the continued improvement of play equipment and play areas for our students at Scottsdale Primary.

Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets, supported the raffle and joined us for the morning. We are very grateful for our wonderful school community ๐ŸŒŸ

Welcome to Week 7, Term 3 at SPS ๐ŸŒŸ

We have lots of exciting things happening across our school community this week!

๐ŸŒŸ Monday - Fatherโ€™s Day Breakfast will be held from 8:20โ€“8:50am in the School Hall. Please park around the surrounding streets, as our grassed areas are too wet for parking plus this will free up the carpark for buses and families dropping off. The School Association Raffle will be drawn at 8:35am, good luck to everyone who entered. Cricket TAS will also be visiting during P.E. lessons.

๐ŸŒŸ Tuesday - Singfest! We wish our students, Miss Rainbow and Ms Barron all the best and hope itโ€™s a rewarding experience for everyone involved.

๐ŸŒŸ Wednesday - Grade 5/6 Puberty Lessons will take place with our school health nurse, Amy. Cricket TAS will again be visiting during P.E. lessons.

๐ŸŒŸ Thursday - Get ready to dance the day away at the North East Dance Event at Ringarooma Primary School. Please join us there for such a fun and energetic day.

๐ŸŒŸ Friday - LiL will be held at 9:15am in Kinder Lethborgโ€™s classroom.

Wishing everyone a fantastic week ๐Ÿ˜Š

Year 2 Hall had lots of fun bringing their maths learning to life with a colourful (and tasty) hands on activity.

As part of their data learning in maths, students sorted their smarties by colour, recorded their results using tallies and represented their data in graphs. They then compared their results and made observations about the data they collected.

Such a fun and engaging way to build important mathematical skills ๐Ÿ“Š๐Ÿ”ด๐Ÿ”ต๐ŸŸข๐ŸŸก๐ŸŸค๐ŸŸ

We are so thankful of the way our students have bounced back after lots of winter sickness in the first few weeks of Term 3. Together, weโ€™re working hard to keep our whole school attendance goal of at 90% or above!

To celebrate, our students had their say on an attendance reward for a Dress Up Day on Tuesday of Week 10.

Students are invited to come dressed as who or what they aspire to be when they grow up! This also connects well with the community event of the Careers Expo where our Year 5/6 students will attend

Every day at school helps build strong learning habits, friendships and opportunities for the future.

Thank you to our families for continuing to support regular attendance and getting students back to school as soon as theyโ€™re well enough.
