Sewing volunteers needed!
We need some simple sewing done on some Indonesian costumes (basically just adding waist ties to 5 pairs of pants). If you have the skills and time, we would really appreciate your help! Amazing work today from our PSSA Soccer Team. Today we travelled to the Coffs Harbour Synthetic Fields to play against a very good team from Ulmarra PS. It was always going to be a big ask with players ranging from Years 2-6 coming up against a team of predominantly Year 6 students and even though in the end the result didn’t go our way, we could not be prouder of these students. They played with sportsmanship, pride and a never give up attitude that was inspiring; truly a performance a community can be proud of. Well Done and a big shout out for the amazing parent support!

A massive congratulations to Nate (and his Dad). At the Loggerheads on the weekend Nate finished 5th and between him and his Dad they took home the family championship and will now be forever immortalised on the Loggerhead board. Amazing work guys!

NAIDOC Week 2026 Celebrations
"50 Years of Deadly"
Our students have enjoyed a week of celebrations, wrapping up NAIDOC week today with an amazing array of activities including damper making, weaving and painting a beautiful mural.
Our school focus was the local story of The Dunggiirr Brothers and the Caring Song of the Whale, where we did the grand unveiling of a beautiful rug for our library space......

Having an amazing day at our annual school Athletics Carnival! The sun is shining and everyone is smiling!
Big thank you to the parents who joined us today to support from the sidelines, and a big thank you to a wonderful group of Year 10 students from MHS who have helped out at each activity.
The P&C and volunteers have done a fabulous job keeping everyone fuelled and watered with excellent menu options in the canteen!
A big team effort today!
