📗🐛🌟BOOK WEEK PARADE 📗🐛🌟

Today at GGCC, the children enjoyed their very own Book Week Parade! They proudly walked across the room, showcasing their amazing costumes and sharing their favourite book-inspired looks with everyone.

After the parade, the children took part in some fun and engaging Book Week activities, continuing the celebration of their love for books, stories and imagination. It was a wonderful day filled with creativity, excitement and lots of smiles!

😁📖👸🏼DAY 4 BOOK WEEK😁📖🐛

Day 4 of Book Week brought another lovely collection of costumes from both the children and educators. Everyone looked fantastic, and it was wonderful to see the excitement continue as we celebrated our favourite books and characters together. 🛑 Red Nose Day 🛑

Today at GGCC, the children celebrated Red Nose Day, a special day dedicated to raising awareness of sudden infant death and supporting families who have experienced the loss of a baby. The charity also funds vital research into SIDS and stillbirth, helping to improve understanding, prevention, and support for families.

Today marked Day 3 of Book Week, and we continued to see some wonderful and creative costumes! It was lovely to see the children arrive dressed as their favourite book characters. Today was Book Week Day 2, and the children came dressed in some wonderful costumes, bringing along their favourite books to share and show us their favourite book characters.

It was amazing to see the children get into the spirit of Book Week and bring their favourite stories to life through their creative and colourful costumes. Their excitement, enthusiasm and joy made the day so special!

This week, we are exploring the wonderful emotion of Enthusiasm! 💛

Enthusiasm is the feeling of excitement, interest and enjoyment we experience when we are really excited about something. It can make us feel full of energy and ready to jump in and have a go! ✨

😊 Smiling and laughing
🙌 Clapping or cheering
🤩 Bright, excited eyes
🕺 Jumping, moving or wanting to join in
💬 Talking excitedly about something we love
⚡ Feeling full of positive energy

🌈 Why is enthusiasm helpful?

Enthusiasm can motivate us to try new things, explore, learn and keep going. When children share their excitement, it can also inspire the people around them and create a positive and joyful environment.

This week, we will encourage the children to recognise the things that make them feel excited and passionate, while learning that it is wonderful to share our interests and celebrate the things we enjoy! 💕🌟

🔬✨ Science Experiment Fun!✨🔬

This morning, the educators invited our Preschoolers to become little scientists as they explored an exciting hands-on science experiment! 🧪👩‍🔬

The educators thoughtfully prepared a sensory tray filled with flour, corn flour and baking soda, alongside a variety of different liquids for the children to investigate.

The children gathered around the table and were introduced to the different dry ingredients and liquids. They were encouraged to make predictions, experiment with mixing the ingredients and observe what happened when the different elements came together. 🥣💧✨

Our Preschoolers showed wonderful curiosity, problem-solving skills and confidence as they explored, made observations and shared their discoveries with one another. It was fantastic to see the children learning through hands-on experimentation and enjoying the excitement of discovering something new! 🌟

✨ OUTDOOR PLAY ✨

Take a look at what our curious junior prep friends have been up to today within our outdoor yard. As they play together and create new games they enhance their physical development, spatial awareness and creative imagination. Today we collaboratively worked together playing hide and seek where the children took turns being the seeker, bowling where the aim was to focus and knock down as much pins as possible. Where the children were excited over one another’s achievements.
