🌟 Behind Every Great School, There’s a Great Team— and we are fortunate to have an incredible one at Galungara.
As we celebrate PSA Schools Recognition Week, we have an opportunity to recognise the many people who contribute to making Galungara Public School the safe, welcoming, organised and successful school community it is.
While teachers are at the heart of classroom learning, our school simply could not function without the many staff who work behind the scenes and alongside students every day.
Our School Administrative and Support (SAS) staff play an important role in supporting students, staff and families and keeping our school running smoothly.

Our Kindergarten students have been working hard exploring 2D and 3D shapes and putting their learning into action by creating their very own cow dioramas! 🐮 We also explored capacity by pretending to milk cows using gloves and investigating how many cups of milk we could collect! The students loved putting their learning into practice and making connections to real-life experiences.

What fantastic mathematicians! 🌟

Hills Performing Arts 2026 - Evan’s Theatre Penrith

On Tuesday the 25th of August 2026, the stage two dancers of Gulangara took to the stage to perform in front of many spectators from various schools.

All of the troop were nervous, excited and full of smiles but they danced every step like it was their last.

The girls all looked spectacular and really shone on stage. Their smiles and laughs have truly made Mrs Fentiman, myself I and all the staff at Gulangara extremely proud.

We would also like to thank all the parents and supporters of the girls in helping them get to their Monday morning practices, dropping them off to rehersal days at various locations and of course being their number one supporter when they performed…

Without your help we wouldn’t have been able to succeed in achieving all of our dreams.

Well done on the huge effort of all the stage two dancers for 2026..

Hills Performing Arts Rehersal Day

Today the students from Stage Two and Stage Three dance groups have come out to Penrith Panthers Evans Theatre for their rehearsal day before tonight’s performances.

Everyone of the students did a fantastic job and worked well together. We can’t wait to see them shine on the stage tonight alongside many other schools from our area!
