FAQ: Should we stop our child's tutoring when they start Year 7?
There's no need to stop. Our sessions can continue into high school. In fact, the transition from Year 6 to Year 7 is a vital time to maintain consistent support while so many other things are changing. Middle-school too is a good time to create a strong maths or English foundation for the senior years.

FAQ: What is involved in an assessment?
The Kip McGrath complimentary assessment is designed to identify any gaps in your child’s learning and also to highlight your child’s strengths. The assessment can take anywhere from 40 - 60 minutes and is conducted by a fully qualified teacher. Your child will be assessed on English, or maths, or both, depending on your child’s needs. At Kip McGrath we use a combination of computer based and written tasks to assess. Following the assessment you can talk directly to the assessor to discuss the results. The results helps us to design an individualised learning program for your child.
