Such a great initiative and much needed in NSW.
However we have 700+ community based preschools who’ve been providing high quality education and care which exceeds the National Quality Standards, many of which for the past 5 decades!! Let's hope that these community based not for profit services receive the funding required to continue to thrive. Where are our 2027 funding guidelines ?? Prue Car MP Chris Minns

NSW Community preschools are still waiting for the funding guidelines for 2027 to be released!!!!
How do we plan for 2027? this includes staffing, enrolments, fees!!

This term break Jess and Kerrie headed to Melbourne to engage in the Early Childhood Australia conference. Such an amazing experience to connect and build knowledge, both of which supports quality outcomes for children. Sadly this could be our last opportunity to engage in such professional development if the State government doesn’t fund sufficiently. This was acknowledged during our recent assessment and rating process when Toormina Community Preschool were recognised as EXCEEDING the National Quality Standards across all 7 areas 🙌🏼
