Yesterday we celebrated the life of Val Simonsen who has sadly passed away. We have loved our time with her, learning from her deep knowledge of plants and their medicinal uses. Val was a guest speaker at one of our "Grow Your Garden" nights and was a frequent visitor to the fortnightly trade days in the last years of her life. She absolutely loved coming from the trade days and saw a deep value for the role they play in our community. Thank you Val for your passion, generosity, wisdom and love for others. We pray for peace and joy as you join your Father God and Saviour Jesus in Heaven.

Hey everyone, it is Winter Feast time!

Because the Third Ground Crew is in the THICK of renovations the back yard won't be available for our feast however we plan to set up the shed and just outside the shed. If anyone would like to come help set up we will be there on Friday the 19th from 10 am giving the shed a clean and setting up lights etc. Call Alexes on 0420942830 if you need more info.

WE'RE CANCELLING THE AUTUMN FEAST :(

So sorry everyone.

We had hopes today that things would clear up but with the ongoing, random showers of rain we just don't want to risk getting caught out in a big shower tomorrow night (that won't be any fun!). Could you all please let anyone you know who isn't on facebook know that we had to cancel. We hope everyone has a wonderful long easter weekend with family and friends even if we have to spend some of it inside. Happy Easter Everyone.

Hey everyone, we are keeping an eye on the weather for the Autumn Feast tomorrow night. If we get these showers all day it will simply be too wet! We will make a decision this afternoon to go ahead or not.

Have you been to a "Feast Night" yet?

Autumn Feast is coming up at 6 pm on Friday the 29th of March.

Once a season (summer, autumn, winter, spring) for nearly 10 years now a group of us locals have been catching up to celebrate all the things that makes being part of a community wonderful. Long term friendships, ongoing conversations, connecting over the things that really matter all while eating delicious food (brought by everyone) and listening to great live music. We don't all have to meet eye to eye or live exactly the same lives as we know it takes all types of people to make up a stable and healthy community. If you haven't been able to make it to one or are a bit unsure please come along. Those of us who have been coming to this event for years know how wonderful and powerful it is to help us stay connected and aware of the important part we play in a much bigger picture.
