Springtime at Thrive TNG is extra special. As the weather starts to warm up, we love seeing our community spaces come to life again.

This weather brings more opportunities to get outside, spend time in nature and enjoy our Sensory Path. Our Multisensory Learning Garden is nearly ready too, with the plants now in the ground and starting to grow. Thrive TNG is such a special place, where children can explore, learn and connect through hands-on experiences 💚

Every child learns differently, but sometimes children need extra support to understand the way they learn best 🧡

Learning differences such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia and ADHD can impact children in different ways. Some children may find reading and spelling challenging. Others may struggle with writing, maths, concentration or staying organised with school tasks.

For families, understanding why something is difficult is often the first step towards finding the right support. We're inviting classroom teachers, Learning and Support Teachers, and SLSOs to join our upcoming Structured Literacy training ⭐️

Structured Literacy benefits all students and is critical for those with reading and spelling difficulties. Research shows literacy intervention is most effective when delivered by well-trained, well-supported professionals.

Our courses provide practical, expert-led learning plus ready-to-use intervention programs and teaching resources (PDFs and PowerPoints included), helping you confidently deliver high-impact support to the children who need it most.

🧡 Course A – All About Sounds: Phonology to Phonics
Live Virtual Workshop 5 hours
29th & 30th June, 5:00–7:30pm

🧡 Course B – Beginning Decoding & Encoding
Face-to-Face Workshop at the Thrive Centre
3rd July, 9:00am–3:30pm

$250 per person, per course (+ GST)

It is highly recommended that participants complete Course A before commencing Course B.

Join us for our upcoming garden working bee & sausage sizzle on June 28 🌱🪴
Our occupational therapist, Sue, and horticulture student, Zach, have been busy preparing the ground of our new Multisensory Learning Garden, and we'd love your help to bring it to life.

Thanks to the incredible support of B & K Revegetation & Landscaping, Bunnings Warehouse Australia and our wonderful families who have donated gardening equipment, we're ready to start planting 💚

Join us for an afternoon of gardening, connection, and a sausage sizzle as we create this special space together.

Please wear enclosed shoes, old clothes, a hat, and gardening gloves if you have them ☀️
