The Mount Carmel College 2026 Arts Festival Silent Auction is online and now live!
There is a vast array of incredible products, services, experiences, and vouchers all donated by our generous College families and the wider College community.

Visit our auction page, create a quick account, have a browse and place a bid. This is our major fundraising initiative for 2026, with all funds raised going towards the upgrade of the College Hall - a space used by students across all year levels. All bids help us reach our fundraising goal sooner.

📚 Join us on Tuesday at Learning for Life as celebrate International Literacy Day.
Bring along your favourite storybook from home to share with the group before we visit the College Library.

Today we celebrate and thank all the wonderful fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, father figures and special men in our College community and thank you for the love, care and support you give.

The countdown is on until the 2026 Arts Festival Family & Friends Evening on Friday 11 September.
To keep hungry tummies satisfied, Fried & Loaded , and will all be there with their food vans, Little Miss Whippy and Happy Waffles have sweet treats taken care of and Bean and Leaf and Bobi Boba will be there for refreshments.
And if you are after something that smells and tastes delicious, the MCC BBQ will be serving sausages in bread.
All of these options will be located in the College Car Park, which will be closed to traffic, making it safe for students, families and friends to wander and catch up over a bite to eat and something to drink. See you on Friday!

We are extremely proud of the efforts of the Secondary Swimming Team competing at the SSATIS carnival yesterday. Many of the team stepped out of their comfort zone to swim in events that ensured there was a Mount Carmel competitor in every event. Their outstanding team effort saw the team finish 5th out of 13 schools in the Girls Junior Shield.
Special mention to Maria Triffett (Year 7) for swimming in all possible events, and achieving four Top 5 finishes. Maria teamed up with Charlotte Hastings, Sophie Woolford and Evelyn Giffard in the U13 4 x 50m relay to win their heat and finish 4th overall.
Congratulations to other Top 5 finishers: Lina Mahmoud, 4th in U14 Backstroke, and the U16 4 x 50m Freestyle Relay team of Ariane Jones, Zara Taylor, Meghan Johnson and Ruby Stokes-Little, finishing 5th in their final SSATIS swimming race for Mount Carmel.

We are excited to share that Mount Carmel College Early Learning Centre is exploring the possibility of opening our ELC to 2-year-old children in 2027.
We are seeking expressions of interest to help us understand the level of demand both within our College and the wider community.
If you have a child who will be 2 years old in 2027 and may be seeking early learning, or if you know of a family who may be interested, please complete the Expression of Interest form below so that we can gauge the level of interest and support our planning for this exciting opportunity.
