Welcome to the official ACEAS page. Our research focuses on Antarctica—a remote part of the world that is difficult to reach and yet is a crucial and fragile part of Earth's climate system.

We aim to better observe, monitor and understand the exact changes that will emerge from changes in East Antarctica and the Southern Ocean, the timescale over which they will occur and the impact on future industries, infrastructure, housing and lifestyles.
