Congratulations to Sgt Benjamin Sean Casey (3rd from the left) on placing equal 2nd in the Adult Drum Major Australian Championship. Not stranger to this event and many times a previous winner, it's great to see Banjamin continuing to compete. As the newly confirmed Vic Principal of Drill & Dress in Victoria, he's a great role model!

PBV adjudicators have been busy this season ensuring the future of both ours and other panels in Australia. Pictured here are the four who undertook trials at the Victorian Championships. Tony Ma (from Hong Kong - piping), Liam Nicolson (resident in Scotland - piping), Josh Chandler (Vic - piping) and William Sincock (NSW - piping).
Also doing trials this season Dave Telford (Vic - ensemble).
Of note, this season, we saw Matt Fraser do his first run as a qualified piping adjudicator and Dougal McConnell Vic/Tas a qualified ensemble adjudicator.
Congratulations and well done to all!

In what is hoped will become a regular pre-Vic Champs activity, adjudicators (local, trial, and interstate) met on Saturday for a workshop. Led by Paul Turner (RSPBA and Victorian Drumming and Ensemble Panels) included updates, discussion and listening activities, all directed towards more professional and consistent adjudication here. Thanks to Victorian Music Vice Principals Dave Telford for organising with Andrew Womersley and Harold Gillespie.
