ππ· Did you know? A beehive is a natural example of tessellation.
A tessellation is a pattern of shapes that fit together perfectly with no gaps and no overlaps and one of the best examples of this in nature is the honeycomb inside a beehive.
Bees build their hives using repeating hexagons, creating a pattern that is not only beautiful, but also strong, efficient, and clever.
It is a wonderful reminder that maths can be found all around us even in the work of tiny bees.

Did you know? π
A child can have normal hearing, but still struggle to process and make sense of what they hear.
This is called auditory processing, and it can make following instructions, learning in the classroom, and remembering spoken information much more difficult.
At Lizzieβs Lingo @ Kip, we offer supportive therapy to help children strengthen these skills and grow in confidence in everyday learning. π

ππ When children learn to care for nature, they help shape a better future.
World Environment Day reminds us that the health of our planet depends on the choices we make every day.
From the trees that shelter us to the water that sustains us and the air we breathe, every part of our environment matters. When we teach children to value and respect the natural world, we help grow a generation that is more aware, responsible, and hopeful.
We believe environmental care begins with everyday learning, everyday choices, and everyday action.
Because protecting the earth starts with how we live on it. πΏ
