This year the Catholic Education Week theme is ‘Shine your light, inspire others’.
Today the students wore something shiny to remember the different ways we can all shine and inspire.

We are inspired by the work of SANDBAG and St Vincent de Paul and are supporting them with a non-perishable food drive.
If you would like to support the work of these important groups, please drop items to the school office.

Catholic Education Week

Today we gathered in liturgy to celebrate Catholic Education Week. The theme this year is ‘Share your light, inspire others’. Father Ravi shared with us the importance of sharing our light and guests from Sandbag and St Vincent de Paul helped us to launch our food drive.
We will be collecting non-perishable items next week for Sandbag and St Vincent de Paul. If you are able to donate please drop items to the Sacred Heart School office.

WITH COMMUNITY AT OUR HEART- PJ and ice-cream day for the St Vincent De Paul Winter Appeal

Today our students and staff enjoyed a pyjama day and an ice-cream treat to raise money for the St Vinnies Winter Appeal. We remembered that tonight there are many people in our community without warm blankets or a safe place to sleep. Thank you St Vinnies for the work you do in our community supporting those in need.

We returned to school last week to a beautiful surprise in our playground. Our wonderful Groundsperson Mr Daniel has really brought our heart to life in our Treehouse/Sandpit space.
