Our 5B students have been busy becoming persuasive speakers! They're using powerful language, strong arguments, and expressive voices to convince the class of an improvement they'd love to see at our school. We can't wait to hear their convincing presentations!

What a drum-believable day!
Today our students had an amazing time taking part in an African drumming incursion. The school was alive with rhythm and energy and we certainly beat the Monday blues! Thanks to Nathaniel and Natalie from African Drumming !!

For those year 6 parents planning on enrolling their child at Sandgate District State High School in 2027.
Families in our next round of Year 7 2027 enrolments have been emailed today, along with confirmation of Signature Program placements.
If you have not received an email, please check your Junk/Spam folder. If you still cannot locate it, please contact the Enrolments Team via email.
Enrolment packs will be posted to our new families next week. These packs will include everything you need to complete your enrolment (paperwork) and instructions on how to book your enrolment interview.
We are pleased to confirm that all families who have applied for Year 7 2027 enrolment to date have now been contacted, and Signature Program placements have been finalised.
We look forward to welcoming our new students and families to the Sandgate District State High School community.

🎉💯 Our Prep students have reached a very special milestone – 100 Days of School! 💯🎉
In week 1 of this term we celebrated 100 days of learning, growing, making friends and having fun. From counting to 100, creative activities and lots of smiles, our students reflected on just how much they have achieved since their very first day of school.
We are so proud of the confidence, resilience and curiosity they show every day. Here's to the next 100 days of learning and adventure! 🌟

Student Council Pyjama Day
On Wednesday 29th July, all students are invited to come to school in their pyjamas. Students are asked to bring a gold coin donation to raise money for the Pyjama Foundation. All clothing must be sunsafe and shoes must be enclosed.
By wearing their pyjamas and donating students will help the Pyjama Foundation raise awareness and vital funds to continue transforming the lives of
children in care with their own special Pyjama Angel mentor.
