From tiny versions of themselves to Year 12…

As part of their busy final week, our Year 12s took a trip down memory lane for Mini Me Dress Up Day, recreating a childhood photo - outfit and all.

There were some seriously cute throwback looks, plenty of creativity and some very impressive attempts to recreate the original. Safe to say, a few childhood fashion choices made a comeback!

Today marked the final meeting for our 2026 Year 12 Student Council.

Thank you for the service, energy and leadership you have given to Seton this year. It has been a pleasure to watch you grow as leaders - stepping forward with initiative, inspiring others, taking on responsibility and setting an example for those around you.

For their final meeting with Mr Edmunds, the Council was taken right back to their Pre-Primary days, sitting together on the mat as Mr Edmunds read them 'Wherever You Go' by Pat Zietlow Miller.

A fitting way to mark the end of their time at Seton - reflecting on how far they have come, while looking ahead to the adventures, choices and unexpected detours that await them.

Thank you, Student Council. We’re proud of what you’ve contributed to Seton and wish you, and the whole Year 12 cohort, all the very best for wherever you go next.

What does leadership actually look like?

For our Year 11s, it meant getting out of their comfort zones, tackling ropes courses and team challenges at Perth HPC, and then looking at leadership from a different perspective the following day.

With Teamworks on Day One and Catherine Kolomyjec from The Kindness Challenge on Day Two, students were encouraged to reflect on the impact they have on others and the legacy they hope to leave at Seton.

As they step towards becoming the Class of 2027, they’re starting to think about the kind of leaders they want to be and the mark they want to leave on the College.

Our Year 7–12 Dance students took to the stage at Perth’s Regal Theatre for The Time Between Us - and delivered something truly extraordinary to a sold-out audience.

With well over 200 performers filling the stage, the energy was palpable. From the first movement to the final curtain, the performance had the audience captivated - and still buzzing long after the show ended.

Congratulations to every dancer who made The Time Between Us such a memorable showcase of talent, dedication and artistry. A huge thank you to our Dance teachers Miss Howieson and Miss Anderson for bringing their artistic vision to life, and to the staff behind the scenes who worked tirelessly across logistics, costumes, lighting, audio and screen projections to create an unforgettable production.

Our Media students are bringing After-Image to Murdoch University - a showcase of original films created entirely by students, from concept to final cut.

With students already having films selected for festivals across Australia, there’s plenty to see.

Our Junior Boys Basketballers are heading into tomorrow’s Grand Final after an outstanding run through the All Schools Final Carnival, winning all six games.

That followed their victory at the Regional All Schools Carnival, putting them within one game of a major milestone: a win tomorrow would see Seton crowned the top non-specialist basketball school in WA.

Good luck to the team and coaches - bring it home, boys!

Our Year 8 students recently visited WA Wildlife in Bibra Lake as part of their Religious Education learning about Stewardship of Creation.

They got up close with native animals and learnt how wildlife is rescued and cared for - including what we can do to help protect vulnerable turtles during their seasonal movement. Students came away with a greater awareness of how human activities can negatively impact our local wildlife, and the small actions we can take to make a difference.

A big thank you to the WA Wildlife team, and to our Seton staff who organised and supported the excursion.

Well done to our Year 12 students who got involved by cutting, colouring and shaving their hair to support people affected by blood cancer.

The gym was full of energy and encouragement yesterday as the clippers, scissors and spray cans came out, with plenty of classmates cheering on those brave enough to take the plunge.

At the time of writing, our Year 12s have raised an incredible $12,340!
