Guitar teacher Rob Reeves performs regularly as a jazz guitarist, and has experience playing in folk, rock, blues and roots bands, and has written music for a documentary sound-track. Rob's guitar teaching focuses on learning to improvise (play lead breaks), how to read music, and how to play chords to accompany yourself or others singing the songs you like.

I am joining forces with drum and piano teacher Zichxyna Mikol to run some band workshops for kids aged 6 to 12 in January. The plan is to have two 2-hr sessions a week apart in the 2nd and 3rd weeks of January. Sessions will be in the morning, probably from 10am to 12. Kids will need an electric guitar, a practice amp and a lead to participate. We will be practicing several tunes, with a chance to play some riffs, chord backing, and perform a short solo. The second session will conclude by recording a short film clip for participants to enjoy and show their friends! Unfortunately I have broken a bone in my foot, and under Doctors orders to not do any driving and stay off my foot. So lessons are cancelled this week. Apologies for any inconvenience.
