Today, we observed a child carefully picking ripe tomatoes from the garden. This hands-on experience supports children to connect with and contribute to their world (Outcome 2), as they learn where food comes from and develop respect for the environment.

Through this exploration, the child also demonstrated curiosity, confidence, and problem-solving skills (Outcome 4), using their hands to gently grasp and pick the tomatoes while noticing their colour and texture.
